1. Purpose and scope

This Code of Ethics addresses the standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality which all people working at Apavarga Consulting (directors, permanent and temporary staff members) shall observe in their work as recruitment consultants, researchers or administrative support officers.

 

2. Confidentiality

All employees shall be bound by the strictest secrecy, which must be observed towards all persons and with regard to all information disclosed in the course of the practice of the profession and not open to the public.

 

3. Qualification

All employees shall not accept any assignment for which they are not qualified. Acceptance of an assignment shall imply a moral undertaking on the staff member's part to work with all due professionalism.

 

4. Professionalism

All employees shall not accept any assignment or situation which might detract from the dignity of the profession. They shall drive the assignment with an appropriate degree of knowledge, thoroughness ans urgency, establishing a fair level of fees.
They shall refrain from any act which might bring the profession into disrepute. This is the condition for a fair competition, allowing candidates and clients to choose the best partner to meet their demands.

 

5. Transparent communication

All issues, questions, feedback pertaining to the successful conduct and fulfilment of an assignment have to be openly discussed with the relevant interlocutor (client or candidate). All employees shall strive to be accurate in all communications with appropriate parties to the assignment, and encourage them to exchange relevant and accurate information. This transparency aims at preventing misunderstandings and potential conflicts of interests.

 

6. Respect of individuals

All employees shall drive the assignments in a respectful and impartial manner,  in order to manage expectations from the clients and candidates. They shall remain polite to serve their clients and candidates loyally and protect client and candidate interests. They shall support equal opportunity in employment and conduct their activities with respect for the public interest.
