1. Purpose and scope

This Code of Ethics addresses the standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality which all people working at Apavarga Consulting (directors, permanent and temporary staff members) shall observe in their work as recruitment consultants, researchers or administrative support officers.

 

2. Confidentiality

All employees shall be bound by the strictest secrecy, which must be observed towards all persons and with regard to all information disclosed in the course of the practice of the profession and not open to the public.

 

3. Qualification

All employees shall not accept any assignment for which they are not qualified. Acceptance of an assignment shall imply a moral undertaking on the staff member's part to work with all due professionalism.

 

4. Professionalism

All employees shall not accept any assignment or situation which might detract from the dignity of the profession. They shall drive the assignment with an appropriate degree of knowledge, thoroughness ans urgency, establishing a fair level of fees.
They shall refrain from any act which might bring the profession into disrepute. This is the condition for a fair competition, allowing candidates and clients to choose the best partner to meet their demands.

 

5. Transparent communication

All issues, questions, feedback pertaining to the successful conduct and fulfilment of an assignment have to be openly discussed with the relevant interlocutor (client or candidate). All employees shall strive to be accurate in all communications with appropriate parties to the assignment, and encourage them to exchange relevant and accurate information. This transparency aims at preventing misunderstandings and potential conflicts of interests.

 

6. Respect of individuals

All employees shall drive the assignments in a respectful and impartial manner,  in order to manage expectations from the clients and candidates. They shall remain polite to serve their clients and candidates loyally and protect client and candidate interests. They shall support equal opportunity in employment and conduct their activities with respect for the public interest.

It seems that people (from the Philippines?) are sending e-mails or text messages using my company name Apavarga Consulting. The people claim to be Camille or Catherine or Katleen. The messages consist in a job offer, that has nothing to do with my fied of activity: I am only sending offers in the medical sector, concerning perm jobs. I use my official e-mail address (as per my profile) or DM via LinkedIn, and never text. My lawyers and the police are working on it, along with the company hosting my website, my bank, belgian fiscal and commercial authorities. If you receive such a message, please do forward it to me, it will be very helpful.

Des personnes mal intentionnées envoient des mails ou des SMS (depuis les Philippines?) en utilisant le nom de ma société Apavarga Consulting. Ces personnes disent s'appeler Camille, Catherine ou Katleen. Les messages sont des offres d'emploi qui n'ont rien à voir avec mon domaine d'activité. Je travaille sur des postes permanents (CDI) dans le médical. Je n'envoie aucune offre par SMS, mais uniquement depuis mon adresse mail officielle telle qu'elle figure sur mon profil, ou par message privé depuis LinkedIn. Mes avocats et la police sont sur une piste, en collaboration avec l'hébergeur de mon site web, ma banque, les autorités fiscales et commerciales officielles belges. Si vous recevez un tel message, merci de me le transmettre, cela sera très utile.
